Ann Cleeves receives her Dagger award, with the help of her editor, Sarah Turner

Ann Cleeves on stage to receive her Duncan Lawrie Dagger. As Ann explains in her blog, she had lost her voice - "a strange series of squeaks and croaks whenever I opened my mouth..." and the award was accepted on her behalf by her editor, Sarah Turner (seen at the lectern to Ann's right in the photograph).
