- Des Véritées Cachées, the French translation, was published by Editions Belfond in May 2008 under their Belfond Noir imprint, with a mass-market paperback edition from Editions Pocket to follow. The large print edition (édition en gros caractères) will be published by Editions Feryane in September 2008:

- Latest: Anhui Literature Art Publishing House will publish the Chinese (simplified language) edition
- The German edition, Die Nacht der Raben, translated by Tanja Handels, was one of Rowohlt's featured titles for December 2007. It is being adapted as a radio play by SWR (Südwestrundfunk)
- Romanian edition forthcoming from Tritonic.
- Polish edition forthcoming from Amber Publishing.
- The US edition of Raven Black is published by St Martin's Minotaur Press.
- The Norwegian edition Svart som ravnen is published by Vigmostad Bjorke (translator Toril Hanssen).
- It has been reviewed by Aftenposten, which said: "Sluttløsningen er et mesterstykke, en virtuos utklekning av det uventede og utrolige, men akk så logisk, så følgeriktig.".
- Dagbladet said "Dette er en kriminalroman i klassisk, britisk stil, meget godt gjennomført på alle plan."
- Ann was interviewed, in Shetland, by Hallgeir Opedal, for Dagbladet Magasinet (feature published in the 15.03.2008 issue). She told him how her husband's passion for ornithology caused her to write Raven Black (Svart som ravnen):

- Det er en amerikansk sothøne. Tim ble desperat etter å se den, selv om den egentlig er en veldig kjedelig fugl. Men siden han samler på fugler og har sett noe slikt som 450 forskjellige på De britiske øyer, ville han nå ha den amerikanske sothøna inn i samlingen, så ga jeg ham den i julegave.
- Hvordan da?
- Jeg ga ham en reise til Shetland. Vi hadde nesten ingen penger, og hadde bare råd til lugar en vei. Men vi kom oss om bord i ferja fra Aberdeen klokka seks en søndag kveld. Om morgenen kom vi fram. Dette var i januar og det var snø og bitende kaldt. Mens vi lette etter sothøna, så jeg to svarte ravner i den gnistrende hvite snøen. Og jeg tenkte: Hvis det hadde vært litt blod der nå, så kunne det blitt en god historie.
